There are things in life that we’ll never get. However, I found that the fact I never had them (and probably never will) is the drive that makes life much more interesting.

I guess it’s somewhere along the line where because of human’s mortal life, things become more valuable. It exactly because of the certainty of death, that things in life, such as love and accomplishments, becomes so much sweeter and more meaningful.

Another sayings also goes, the chase is more exciting than the catch, applies to the same philosophy. It is the idea that there are things we have yet, or probably will never get, that spice up our undetermined yet inarguably limited stay in this earth.

In a lighter sense, to not have what you want, is in one way, a blessing. Yes, it can be disappointing, it can even be painful.

But never give up.

Be glad that tomorrow is a new day. Be glad that you’re still alive. Be glad that your still breathing. Be glad, that you are still who you are. As no matter how small, the possibility to achieve more, exist, human will always find some joy of pursuing it. I guess it’s just our nature.

When life let you down, stand up, dust off yourself, and smile. Smile, and move on.
